The 2020 Cheltenham Festival will begin at 13:30 on Tuesday, 10 March, and ends on Friday, 13 March (United Kingdom Time). Gates will open from 10.30 am.
The venue’s location is Prestbury Park in Gloucestershire. The closest train station is Cheltenham but its not actually that close to the racecourse,

How Much does a bet cost at the Cheltenham Festival?
Now, this depends on if you are going to place the bet at a bookmaker on track or at an actual bookmaker shop.
The minimum bet on track at Cheltenham is usually between £2 and £5 but you can sometimes locate a satchel bookie offering £1 minimum bets.
Bookmaker stores will allow much lower bets from as little as 5p-25p. Remember you have to be over 18 to be able to place a bet so make sure you have your ID in case you look younger than you are.
Cheltenham Racecourse Ticket Prices For Cheltenham Festival 2021
The ticket prices for entry into the 2020 Cheltenham Festival will cost you from £37.50 and if you want hospitality it starts at £469.
2021 may be a little different with it being highly likely there will be no crowds permitted for the first time ever.
Make sure that you only buy tickets from the official provider (The Jockey Club) failure to do so may result in paying well over the odds for a ticket.
Get your tickets as early as you can to avoid disappointment and you can also get them cheaper in advance.
Cheltenham Festival Dress Code
The course is well known for anything from fancy dress to people dressed to the nines If you want to fit in and don’t want to do fancy dress I recommend smart attire such as smart jeans, shoes, a shirt and a nice smart jacket for men and a nice dress or smart attire for ladies, especially on ladies day.
Taking Children to Cheltenham Racecourse during the Festival?
Children are welcome but the course will be incredibly busy so I would advise against taking very small kids with you, though it’s your choice, take a look at the image above to see how busy it will be.
