The biggest horse racing fixture on the calendar commences this Tuesday 12th March 2019. So I thought I might tool you all up with some free Naps And Tips For Cheltenham Festival and let’s hope they pay well.
Feel free to share this with your friends on Social Media.
I have been betting on the Cheltenham Festival for years now and I have to say I often do quite well there.
Much better than I do at the Aintree Grand National and other horse racing festivals anyway.
Let’s break it down into all 4 days of the festival and finish off with my free Cheltenham Gold Cup tip.
The Gold Cup is a race I often get right much to the annoyance of my friends and family so let’s hope I can nail it once more this year.
So without further ado let’s move on to the free Cheltenham tips with my Day 1 predictions.
We have one NAP tip for each day of the festival this year and also the odd extra tip which I fancy will do well.
You can adjust the points to whatever stake you want to place and feel comfortable with.
Day 1 – Free Cheltenham Tips
The festival kicks off with the Sky Bet Supreme Novices’ Hurdle (Grade 1) (Class 1) (4YO plus) and I have a selection in mind for this one and that is Angels Breath, this horse has been in fine form for the Nicky Henderson stable and though he has some work to do to beat Al Dancer here on form figures.
Al Dancer has not won a Grade 2 for a while unlike Angels Breath who has almost done that twice in its last two runs (just touched off last time by Southfield Stone) this is a horse on the improve and I very much fancy it to beat Al Dancer it remains to be seen if anything else can improve past the market principles here but this is a great chance for a good start to the meeting with this one.
March 12th – Cheltenham 1.30 Sky Bet Supreme Novices’ Hurdle – Angels Breath (NAP) 4/1 – 2 point win
My other selection for day 1 is in the Ultima Handicap Chase (Grade 3) (Class 1) (5YO plus) a race which I think it’s worth siding with Give Me A
He stays all day and won’t have any issue with the ground at Cheltenham the extra furlong may eke out more from him and the hill may play to his strengths. You can get a good price on him at present too and is worthy of an each-way bet.
March 12th – Cheltenham 2.50 – Ultima Handicap Chase – Give Me A Copper 11/2 – 1 point each way
Day 2 – Free Cheltenham Tips
Just one NAP bet for the second day of the festival and that comes in the Coral Cup Handicap Hurdle (Grade 3) (Class 1) (4YO plus).
Brio Conti is well worth each-way support in this one at massive odds currently of around 16/1 or better this horse excels around 2 miles 4 and 2 miles 5 furlongs (the trip of the Coral Cup) and should be bang there at the business end of the race.
March 13th Cheltenham 2.50 Coral Cup Handicap Hurdle – Brio Conti (NAP)16/1– 1 point Each Way.
Day 3 – Free Cheltenham Festival Tips
Hopefully, by now we have had a winner or two and are playing with profits as I have 2 selections for day 3 of the festival. The first comes in the JLT Novices’ Chase (Grade 1)(Class 1)(5YO plus).
Glen Forsa certainly catches the eye based on recent form figures reading 22111. Glen Forsa is certainly a very good Novice and the type that will take this race by the scruff of the neck when it matters and I have seen it at odds of 10/1 and better currently so bag that while you can.
March 14th Cheltenham 1.30 JLT Novices’ Chase – Glen Forsa (NAP) – 1 point Each Way
The other selection for day 3 of the Cheltenham Festival is in the Sun Racing Stayers’ Hurdle (Grade 1)(Class 1) (4YO plus). This is a race where I simply cannot look past the
This horse looks a revelation and the fact its price so short with the likes of Faugheen and Supasundae in the same race speaks volumes.
Paisley Park has strung together 3 recent wins most notably a Grade 1 and Grade 2 and looks to have stamina galore which will certainly help up the hill I expect to see this one come into its own in this race.
March 14th Cheltenham – 3.30 Sun Racing Stayers’ Hurdle – Paisley Park – 2 points Win
Day 4 – Free Cheltenham Gold Cup Tip
Well here we are at the final day of the festival and it’s Gold Cup day, something we thought may not occur a few weeks ago during the horse influenza outbreak.
My tip for the Gold Cup is Native River last year’s winner who dominated from the front until the end when he only had one challenger Might Bite who looked to be travelling better.
Native River however showed true grit that day and would not be passed on the run up the hill and eventually won by a good margin. He has been lightly raced since with this race in mind once more and I feel he has a BIG chance again here.
March 15th – Cheltenham Gold Cup – 3.30 – Native River – 3 points Win
