Japan Grinding Things Out
It doesn’t matter how you win as long as you win and that’s what Japan has been managing to do thus far in the competition, their controversial goal (which was in by the way) sent Germany crashing out of the World Cup competition in the group stages.
Japan have earned where they are in this competition and they warrant respect when playing Croatia here.
Croatia is not the force of old and this energetic passionate Japanese team could really knock them out of the competition if they don’t play to their full potential.
Croatia Not Setting The World Alight
Yes, they have managed to get this far but they are not very exciting to watch and lack the sharpness that they will need if they want to get any further rin the tournament.
Their top players are in their latter years and this may well be some of their last World Cup.
If you are backing Croatia I don’t think you could do it with any faith at the moment, I actually think Japan can beat them here.
Japan Vs Croatia Prediction – Japan Digs Out Another Big Win
There have been plenty of shocks in this tournament already and this could be the next one, Japan played very well in their last game and earned a win controversy aside.
They can cause an ageing Croatian side no end of problems at the back and they could p[potentially lock the Croatians out at the back too.
I do see a Croatian goal, but I see Japan edging this one possibly a 2-1 style game, so both teams to score and over 2.5 goals are both good options in this one.
I am going to avoid the first goalscorer be ton this one as literally, anyone could get one first.

Over 2.5 goals = Yes
