The Cheltenham Festival is now just around the corner. It’s time to find the experts and tipsters you’re going to follow for the 2023 jump racing spectacle.
Of course, you can trust your gut, or dig deep into the bundles of form on offer yourself, but it can be much easier to let a tipster with a proven track record do all of the work for you. With 28 races on offer throughout the four days of action, nearly every horse competing will have at least one tip beside its name.
Each and every tipster has their own process of finding winners, it is up to you whether you want to follow those who like to tip favourites, those who put forward medium odds runners, or those who like to fish for big e/w prices that could potentially provide big returns on your investment.
Flooring Porter
If ever there was an advertisement for joining together to enjoy having shares in a racehorse, then Flooring Porter would be it. The Flooring Porter Syndicate have experienced some of the greatest days of their lives thanks to Gavin Cromwell’s star hurdler, and at Cheltenham 2023, they will once again get the opportunity to celebrate a top-level win at the home of jump racing.

Flooring Porter is attempting to join an elite group of horses to win the same race for three years running in the Stayers’ Hurdle, and despite arriving at Prestbury Park after an indifferent season, he is still popular with tipsters that believe he can bounce back to form.
At a best-priced 7/1 in the betting markets, Flooring Porter would become the first horse since Big Bucks to win three Stayers’ Hurdles, and he must have a chance of doing so in a wide-open renewal.
Impaire Et Pass
With question marks now being placed against the long-time Supreme Novices’ favourite, Facile Vega, experts and punters alike have been looking for a horse capable of beating the apple of Willie Mullins’s eye in the opening race of the week.
Tipsters are of differing opinions over who is best of the rest if Facile Vega fails to fire, but it is his stablemate, Impaire Et Pass, who is proving most popular. With just three career starts to date, the French import has bags of untapped potential and could take his first steps towards a hugely successful career by winning the 2023 Supreme.
Stattler
This year’s Gold Cup looks like Galopin Des Champs’ race to lose, but who will prove to be best of the rest is a close-run thing. The answer to this question, according to expert tipsters at least, could be his stablemate, Stattler.
Last season’s National Hunt Chase winner obviously has unyielding stamina reserves, but also that touch of class that is obviously needed to compete in the blue riband of National Hunt racing. With some experts questioning the staying power of Galopin Des Champs, if the race turns into a war of attrition, Stattler is likely to be there to pick up the pieces.
These are just three horses that are fancied to have a big festival by some experts, but as is the case within the tipster business, others will be of a very different opinion.
For punters, it is simply a case of finding the right tipster for your preference when it comes to having a bet.
