Brazil will take on Serbia in the 19:00 kick-off in Group G on Thursday the 24th of November 2022, It should be a very interesting opening game for the Brazilians.
Brazil Rated Number 1 In The World
The Brazilians are the highest-ranked team in the world by the FIFA world rankings and also the bookmaker’s favourite to lift the trophy in Qatar this time around.
Serbia is currently ranked around 21 and is by no means a pushover but Brazil is very short favourites in this fixture and has bags and bags of quality on the field and on the bench.

Serbia has only lost 3 games in all competitions in the last 2 years which came at the hands of Denmark and Norway, though they have beaten the likes of Portugal, Qatar, and Hungary on the route to this competition (Hungary drubbed England 4-0 and 1-0).
They are a good side and have the ability to cause sides problems, if they can live with the pace and skill of the Brazil squad they can potentially limit how they play and aim for a draw.
That being said Brazil will be looking to get off to a flyer so it’s a tough game, but I do feel that the odds are a little short on Brazil coming into this at around 2/5 currently.
Brazil Vs Serbia Prediction
With all this taken into account and the past meetings between these two sides both ending with Brazil winning to nil, I do think Brazil will probably win it but there is no value in their price.
Both teams to score looks like the value play here which should be around evens at the moment and also Brazil to win and both teams to score with a possible scoreline of 2-1.
Vinicius JR would be a good first-goalscorer bet if he lined up though it’s hard to know who will start for the Brazilians until the day.
Over 2.5 goals is also a good play here because if Serbia does get a goal it will force Brazil to attack more and really open the game up for more goals.
