With both sides conceding an average of one goal in their last 3 home and away games respectively whilst scoring a combined 19 goals in 6 games (3 home Europa League games for Benfica and 3 away Europa League games for Arsenal).
I can see this being a goal-fest, to be honest, I could be way off but Arsenal always seems to falter when they need a victory the most and I have a preference for a Benfica win here too.
Jan Vertonghen the ex spurs defender will be looking forward to a chance at shutting out Arsenal’s attack and he could play a pivotal role in keeping Benfica in the game if Arsenal continues scoring as they have in previous matches in this competition.
Aubameyang is obviously the one to watch going forward for Arsenal and his confidence will be high after his hat trick in the premier league last week against Leeds.

In their last 5 meetings with Benfica, Arsenal has won 2, drawn 2, and lost just 1, two of those games were in the Emirates Cup where Arsenal scored 5 goals both times winning 5-2 and 5-1 respectively.
The bookies rightfully have Arsenal as favourites but I am not sure they can win against a free-scoring Benfica at their home ground tonight.
