Villa Not Sharp Enough Up Front
Villa struggled to overcome Everton on Wednesday, Watkins missing some real sitters at times and Everton can arguably feel hard done by not getting at least a point from that game.
Watkins put wide with an open goal ahead of him in the first half he did atone shortly after the break with a good goal but this is the Premier Legaue when you play teams like Arsenal you cannot miss a chance like that.
Calvert Lewin had a few opportunities to punish Villa on the flip side but with Everton in such poor form themselves they could make them pay.
Villas’s form on the road is not great with 10 games played 4 wins 1 draw and 5 losses to their name.

Arsenal beat Spurs 2-1 in a relatively close encounter at home some luck as Solanke scored in the wrong goal to give them a lifeline after going down 0-1 around 25 minutes into the game with a goal from Son.
Arsenal had more chances and a higher XG during that match and deserved the win overall, they have got some injuries but they have enough firepower I think to get a result against Villa.
Arsenal have only lost at home twice recently in the FA Cup and The EFL Cups, in the Premier League however they are very strong at home with 10 games played 7 wins and 3 draws.

I think Arsenal will edge this one, I can see them scoring at least twice, I do however see Villa getting a goal at some point especially if they can be more clinical up front.
For that reason, both teams scoring is a good bet here with Arsenal being good at home but having shipped 7 goals in their 10 home games means they are not guaranteed a clean sheet at all.
Goalscorer bets could be wise to go with Watkins is towards the top of the top scorers in the league so he is a wise anytime goalscorer bet, but I fancy Havertz to get the first goal if fit enough to line up on Saturday, he has had some abuse and stick online and offline recently and he will want to silence the critics at Villas expense.

As you can see my main opinion is Arsenal will win the game but at the expense of a clean sheet so it could well be worth betting on Arsenal to win and both teams to score.
