Netherlands Vs Argentina Match Prediction A Close Game With Argentina Edging It
Coming into this quarter-final there is not a lot that can be deemed predictable as we go into the latter stages of the competition.
The Netherlands is my selection for this match as I feel they play more as a team and overall look a bit more solid than Argentina.
Messi can only carry them for so long, and they really are starting to look like a one-man team even though he is the best player in the world I don’t think he can carry them to the final.
I do see him possibly bagging another goal which is why you have to either opt for a 0-0 type match going to extra time here or a goal frenzy and I don’t think either side is good enough defensively to keep a clean sheet here.
Messi is obviously an anytime goalscorer bet along with Gakpo who has been one of the players that have really caught my eye during this World Cup.
Depay is also a big threat for The Netherlands which means they have more than one goal threat, I really do think the Netherlands can win this one even though Argentina is very very short favourites here.
In the World Cup anything can happen we have seen it before when Greece beat Portugal to win the euros and it can happen again.
Both teams carry a big goal threat and I favor the Netherlands more defensively than Argentina which is my deciding factor on who wins this one.
