Now that we know who is playing who we can try to formulate a plan on who can make it through the first stage first of all, by looking at which countries have on paper the easier groups and which teams are most likely to coast through to the next stage.
Which Teams Can Make It Through To The Last 16
Judging by the fixtures the teams most likely to make it through the last 16 in our opinion are as follows…
Group A
The Netherlands and Senegal
Group B
England and Wales
Group C
Argentina and Mexico
Group D
France and Denmark
Group E
Spain and Germany
Group F
Belgium and Croatia
Group G
Brazil and Switzerland
Group H
Portugal and Uruguay
Out of this potential, the last 16 we can then pick our most likely teams to win their next legs, out of these the strongest sides are England, France, Belgium, Argentina, Denmark, Spain, and Germany.
Senegal is 80/1 and unlikely to be able to cause many shocks, Mexico is a dark horse but the bookies have them at 100/1 currently and Croatia is not the force of old at 50/1.
Ghana is 150/1, and other sides lack appeal such as Morocco and Korea.
Hard to work out which teams will play each other as it will depend on who wins the group and which team comes second.
Potential Last 16 Fixtures
Netherlands Vs Wales ( we fancy the Netherlands to win this)
England Vs Senegal (obviously England should win this)
Argentina Vs Denmark (tough one Denmark is good but we go with Argentina to squeeze through)
France Vs Mexico ( France should get through)
Germany Vs Croatia (Germany can beat this Croatia side)
Spain Vs Belgium ( Belgium maybe can squeak this)
Brazil Vs Uruguay (a great game we fancy Brazil though)
Switzerland Vs Portugal (tough call Portugal can edge it)
This would leave us with 8 teams The Netherlands, England, Argentina, France, Germany, Brazil, Portugal, and Belgium.
Quarter Finals Potential Games
Netherlands Vs England ( will keep the faith with England to take this)
Argentina Vs France (Argentina can capitalise on a French side out of form)
Germany Vs Belgium (Germany can take this)
Brazil Vs Portugal (Brazil can edge Portugal)
Our predicted final 4
this would give us our final 4 teams England, Argentina, Germany, and Brazil and that will form part of our World Cup 2022 tips but we will also have a few lively outsiders who could spoil the party.
Our Free World Cup 2022 Tips And Predictions
So we will be backing the four sides we think will make the final four, to begin with, so that would be :
England (7/1) Obviously would love us to win it and it is possibly our best chance too for a while
Brazil (9/2) You would be a bit mad to leave the Brazilians out of your calculations.
Germany (10/1) Germany gave England a great game and quite easily could of beaten us at many points so is a good choice.
Argentina (7/1) Argentina has a strong side and a solid chance of getting a decent route to the last 4.
Backing all 4 is the best plan, if you use a cash out betting account you can potentially cash some in as the tournament progresses and even make a profit from all 4 bets.
Outsider Picks To Win The 2022 Qatar World Cup
Our outsider picks are sides we think could edge a runners-up spot or even a surprise group win, and potentially get their way through to the last 4.
Croatia (50/1) is a side that is dangerous to leave out of calculations
Denmark (28/1) a very strong side recently beat France quite comfortably
