Paul Townend 3 Rides For Today

Paul Townend’s Friday Rides at Naas – My Analysis

I’ve been watching Paul Townend’s rides closely for years now, and I’m excited to share my thoughts on his chances at Naas today like amny other horse racing tipsters are. Let’s find a winner together!

Future Prospect (12:43 Maiden Hurdle) looks interesting at 6/4, but I’m a bit concerned about that lack of a recent run. When I look at her form, she has faced some decent mares previously, and that point-to-point experience is a definite plus for her jumping.

I always pay attention when horses wear a hood – it usually means they’re keen going. My experience tells me many of Willie Mullins’ horses have needed a run this season, so that’s something to be cautious about. However, reports suggest she’s been working nicely at home.

For the Grade 1 Ballymore Novice Hurdle (13:43), Paul had to make a tough choice between two Mullins horses, and he’s sided with Saint Baco at 11/5. I’ve followed this one closely, and I think he’s made the right call here! The form of Saint Baco’s maiden hurdle win has worked out brilliantly, with Lazare de Star winning at Leopardstown over Christmas.

Want to know what gives Saint Baco an edge? He’s got that valuable French hurdling experience to call upon. Naas is a stiff track that really tests stamina, but I believe this horse has what it takes to handle it.

Karamoja (15:13 Beginners Chase) is a solid favourite at 10/11, and I can see why. I watched her seasonal debut at Fairyhous,e where she jumped well but tired late. The step up to two-and-a-half miles is interesting – not ideal for her racing style, but she managed it over hurdles last season.

I’m confident she’ll improve massively for that run. When horses have that first run under their belt, they often come on leaps and bounds, and I believe she’ll take all the beating here.

Fancy a bet today? I’d say Saint Baco might be the pick of Paul’s rides. Take a look, and I am confident you will improve your betting if you follow my advice!
