Welcome to our free Cheltenham Festival 2017 preview which will include free tips as well as my ones to watch selections.
The Cheltenham Festival is one of the biggest horse racing fixtures of the year and certainly gains the most media focus second possibly to the Aintree Grand National perhaps. Every year thousands of punters descend upon this relatively small English town to watch some of the best race horses the English and the Irish have to offer. Future stars are made at Cheltenham which has one of the most testing home straights in the world.
A steep uphill gradient at the end of a long race is never easy even if you have four legs the Cleeve hill can certainly sort out the young pretenders and find out the true staying champions.
Picking a winner can be a tough task at Cheltenham where the competition can be very tough and in some cases literally anything could win the race this is why sometimes its best to follow a tipster.
Worth over 100 million to the economy during the festival and with over 110,000 on average descending on the little Cheltenham train station in just four days. Over 6000 staff are employed for this meeting and you can see why with the women knocking back over 120,000 bottles of win and the fellas close to half a million pints of Guinness.
Cheltenham Festival 2017 runs from March 14th until March 17th so don’t forget to book the days off from work!

The Ones to watch
There are tons of horses to sift through if your thinking of having a bet on the Cheltenham festival this year, so here are my ones to watch for this years meeting. These selections may well be worth having these on a multiples bet nudge nudge.
Thistlecrack – Gold Cup – A suspect second last time out to Many Clouds in my opinion and fortunately later on Many Clouds collapsing and the dying cast a shadow over this horse. However he is an incredible race horse and his class will shine through on Gold Cup day.
Vroum Vroum Mag – Whichever race he races in (hes entered in two so far) he is always worth a bet.
Apples Jade – Also entered in two races she was a surprise package last season ands the progress looks set to continue this year. May well thrive here in 2017.
Cue Card – Nothing need be said about this one hes had a fantastic prep for this years festival and he will be bang there barring any hiccups.
